Directions from the airport

How do I get to Monte Carlo from the airport?
Exit the airport on Swenson. Turn left at Tropicana Avenue. Go about 1½ miles until you reach Las Vegas Blvd. Turn right on Las Vegas Blvd. and go about one-quarter mile. Monte Carlo is on the left side of the Strip (Las Vegas Blvd.). You should anticipate 15-30 minutes travel time, depending on traffic.

Directions from the Freeway

How do I get to Monte Carlo from the freeway?
On the I-15 heading North:
Take the Tropicana Avenue exit. Turn right on to NV-593 East. Turn left on to South Las Vegas Boulevard and make a U-turn at the next light. Monte Carlo will be on your right.

 

On the I-15 heading South
Take the Flamingo Road East exit. Merge onto East Flamingo Road and take a slight right on to South Las Vegas Boulevard.

Shuttle Service

Is there shuttle service from the airport to Monte Carlo?
Several companies offer shuttle service to and from McCarran International Airport (approximately $5.00 per person one-way). Signs are posted on the transportation level at the airport outside baggage claim which will direct you to the shuttle area. Return shuttles run from Monte Carlo to the airport from 6:00 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. Reservations are recommended for airport returns after 6:00 p.m. Our Bell Desk can assist you with the arrangements. Taxi service to the airport costs approximately $12 to $15 one-way.

Room Amenities

Do your guestrooms have hairdryers, irons, ironing boards, hairdryers, and refrigerators?
Hairdryers, irons, ironing boards, standard toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, and lotion), alarm clocks, and room safes are provided in all of our guest-rooms. We do not provide coffee makers or microwave ovens. Refrigerators and cribs are available upon request for a nominal daily fee.

Additional Guest Fees

Do you charge more for additional guests in a room?
Our rates are based on single/double occupancy.If you have more than two guests in a room there is an additional fee of $25.00 per person/per night, regardless of age. Please keep in mind there is a maximum of four guests in each room.

Check-in And Check-out Times

What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in time begins at 3:00p.m. It is possible that you may be able to check in sooner, depending on our inventory of clean, vacant rooms. Otherwise, our Bell Desk can store your luggage until your room is ready. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. If your travel plans necessitate a later check-out, please contact the Front Desk to assist you with these arrangements. Please note that a late checkout fee may apply. Our Bell Desk will be happy to hold your luggage for you until you are ready to depart if you are not able to arrange a late checkout.

Children

Do you provide daycare or have children's activities?
Childcare services and organized children's activities are not offered at Monte Carlo. For listings of local child care providers, please refer to the Las Vegas Yellow Pages under "Baby Sitters."

Comps

How can I get comps, funbooks and coupons at Monte Carlo?
"Comps" are offered to rated table games players and slot players based on their previous play at Monte Carlo or the other MGM MIRAGE properties that make up our Players Club. Play is tracked on your Players Club card. You can also receive special hotel e-mail offers throughout the year by signing the Guestbook on our website. Visit our "Promotions" page to see additional rate specials posted two to three months in advance. We do not otherwise offer funbooks or free coupons at Monte Carlo.

Discounts

Do you offer military or AAA discounts?
For military personnel, we are pleased to offer a $10 discount off our prevailing nightly rate. AAA members are also eligible to receive a $10 discount off our prevailing rate for one room when a valid AAA membership card is presented upon check-in. (Please note that the AAA discount is not available during special rate promotions.)

Dress Code

What is the dress code for your shows and gourmet restaurants?
Although you will see Las Vegas visitors in a wide array of attire, the atmosphere in our showrooms and gourmet restaurants calls for a more sophisticated style of dress. While jackets and ties are not required, we suggest casual evening attire for our guests. Tank tops, cut-off shorts, and athletic shoes are not appropriate. Jackets are suggested for men dining in Andre’s.

Flowers/Gifts

How can I order a special amenity for a hotel guest?
Floral arrangements, balloon bouquets and a variety of special gift baskets can be delivered directly to a guest's room by calling our gift shop, at (702) 730-7555. Special food and beverage amenities, such as champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries, can be arranged through Room Service at (702) 730-7473.

Gift Certificates

How can I purchase gift certificates at Monte Carlo, and where can they be used?
Monte Carlo Gift Certificates are available in $25, $50 and $100 denominations. They are available for purchase in person at the Monte Carlo Business Center or the Monte Carlo Boutique only. Gift Certificates can be used in our shops, restaurants, Spa, Salon, and towards a guest's room account. Gift certificates may not be used for gaming.

Golf

Do you sell golf packages or make arrangements for golf?
We do not offer golf packages, but we can certainly assist you with tee times and arrangements to play at any Walter’s Golf Course or one of the many other fine golf courses in Las Vegas. Call our toll-free golf reservations line, (702) 730-7399, for information about Walter’s Golf and other available courses.

Grand Canyon/Hoover Dam Tours

How do I make reservations for tours?
Our staff at the Bell Desk staff can assist you with booking one of the many available tours in the area. Advance reservations are not required, but the more popular tours do tend to fill up quickly, so it's best to book ahead. For assistance, please call (702) 730-7010.

Guestbook

What are the benefits of signing the Guestbook on your website?
It takes just a moment to sign our Guestbook to become eligible to receive the special promotions and discounts we offer several times throughout the year. The Promotions Page on our website has additional discounted rates which are generally posted two to three months in advance.

Gym

Do you have a gym, and is there a charge to use it?
The Spa Fitness Center features state-of-the-art weight and cardio equipment. The wet area consists of Jacuzzis, steam room, sauna and juice bar. For updated fees please refer to the Spa section under amenities on our web site. Non-guests are permitted to use the facilities Monday through Thursday.

Internet Access

Do you offer Internet access, and what is the charge?
High Speed: We offer High Speed Internet access in our rooms. The cost is a $13.99 flat rate for upto a 24-hour access period per laptop. Additional users accessing the same Ethernet port will result in additional fees. The fees are billed to the guestroom when a guest uses the Ethernet port for the entire 24-hour period or any portion of the 24 hours. High Speed Internet access ("broadband" access) is also available through our Business Services Center for an additional fee. For more information call (702)730-7265.

Dial-up: Accessing the Internet from your guestroom is treated the same way as using the telephone in your guestroom. If you have to dial your ISP using a long distance number rather than a toll-free or local number, regular long distance charges will apply.

Legal Age

How old do I have to be to book a room or gamble in your casino?
You must be 21 years of age to gamble or consume alcoholic beverages in Nevada. You must be at least 21 years of age and have a major credit card to reserve a hotel room at Monte Carlo.

Do you provide limousine service for your guests?
Our Bell Desk can assist guests with private sedan reservations through a number of reputable companies. For assistance, please contact our Bell Desk at (702) 730-7290.

Mail/Packages

How can I mail something to a Monte Carlo guest?
Address the package to The Monte Carlo Resort and Casino, 3770 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, NV 89109. Be sure to write the recipient's name on the package, followed by the words "Hotel Guest" and their arrival date. Our Business Services Center will notify the guest of their package. All packages are subject to a processing and delivery fee based on the weight of the item. For more information call (702) 730-7265.

Marker Signing Privileges

How can I obtain Marker Signing Privileges at Monte Carlo?

Parking

Do you offer free parking?
We offer complimentary valet service.

Pets

Do you allow pets at Monte Carlo?
Sorry, pets are not allowed. Our Front Desk or Room Reservations staff may assist you with kennel locations. Service animals are allowed.

Restaurant Reservations

How do I make reservations for your restaurants?
Reservations for restaurants located at Monte Carlo can be made up to 60 days in advance by calling our Restaurant Reservations line at (877) 2-DINE-LV.

Room Requests

If I book in advance, can I be assured a non-smoking room, bed type or floor preference?
Regretfully, we cannot guarantee room requests, regardless of when a reservation is made, because rooms are assigned from the inventory of clean, vacant rooms that are available when a guest arrives. We do note all room requests and make every attempt to satisfy those requests.

Spa/Salon

If I am not staying at Monte Carlo, can I use your Spa and Salon?
Non-guests have access to these facilities Monday through Thursday for a nominal $25.00 per day charge. The Spa is open daily from 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. with Spa Service hours of 8:00a.m. - 6:00p.m. The Salon is open daily from 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. For more information about our Spa or Salon please visit our website or call the Spa (702) 730-7590 or for the salon call (702) 730-7960. Appointments can be made one week in advance.

Special Events

How can I find out about special events at Monte Carlo?
Most special events at Monte Carlo such as slot tournaments, blackjack tournaments, and special casino events are held in conjunction with our Casino. Attendance is normally restricted to Players Club members who meet the required play criteria, and tickets are not sold to the general public. If you would like information on how to be included in these special events, please contact our Casino Marketing Department at (800) 822-8276.

Transportation

What transportation is available from your location on The Strip?
Shuttles are available to and from McCarran International Airport. Other transportation options include taxis, limousine service, the City Bus, Strip Trolley and the various connecting trams and walkways between Strip resorts. There is a Dollar Rent-A-Car desk located in our hotel lobby for your convenience in renting a vehicle during your stay. You may contact Dollar Rent-A-Car at (702) 730-7974. Our Bell Desk will be happy to assist you with any of your transportation needs.

Upgrades

What is a Concierge room and how much would it cost to upgrade to one? Can I request a room with a great view of the Strip or Pool?
Concierge rooms, located on the 32nd floor, features turndown service, concierge assistance, privately keyed floor, beautiful view from the 32nd floor.   Concierge rooms are available with a King bed only and are available for $50 per night above the prevailing rate for a standard Deluxe Room. We also have Standard Deluxe rooms with a "premium view" available for an additional charge per night.

Vacation Packages

Do you offer packages that include airfare?
While Monte Carlo does not offer vacation packages, MGM MIRAGE Vacations is a company that specializes in providing complete vacations to each of the MGM MIRAGE properties. These vacations can include airfare, rental car, limousine transfers, meals, show tickets and honeymoon packages. Wedding Chapel

Do you have a wedding chapel?

Wheelchairs

Do you have wheelchairs available for your guests?
Our Bell Desk can assist you with a wheelchair when you arrive. There is no charge for regular wheelchairs, but you will be required to leave an imprint of your credit card as a security deposit until the wheelchair is returned. Can I request a donation from Monte Carlo?
The social investments made by MGM MIRAGE are dedicated to strengthening the communities where our employees live, work and care for their families.
